Warm Weather Travel Essentials

No matter how far in advance I begin the process of packing for a warm weather vacation, I inevitably end up scrambling to get it all organized at the last minute. I think to myself, “I’ll just bring swim trunks, sandals and t-shirts and I’ll be good.” Just when I think I’ve figured out a game plan, my lady walks into the room to remind me that I’ll be doing more than just chillin’ out poolside, sipping margaritas. The reality is, you have to prepare for anything on vacation and that can make packing very complicated. You’ll be eating out at restaurants and participating in other activities that may require you to dress in “real clothes.” The last thing you want is to be on vacation without the proper attire.

I recommend exploring linen pants as an option. Linen is great because even on the warmest of days, it’s as practical an option as a pair of shorts, but versatile enough for dress up. You can wear them with a t-shirt, button-up shirt, or even a sweater after the sun goes down.

Do you have any tips for packing for trips to warm destinations? – I’d love to hear!
