A few weeks ago, Ann and I traveled to Scandinavia, visiting Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. We started the trip in Bergen and took a tour through Norway’s fjord country via bus, train and ferry. It was one of the most scenic experiences of my life.
While traveling across the country, right at the start of fall, lightweight layering pieces were essential. With this look, I’m wearing a WRKNY jacket that’s long on the body for full protection from the elements. The oversized pockets were clutch for carrying all my travel items- passport, train tickets and even my camera. That’s what I call all-purpose outerwear.
Norway reminded me a lot of Washington State with its mountainous, green scenery and overcast weather. It makes sense that Bergen would be Seattle’s sister city.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing the other places we visited on this trip, so stay tuned.
